Kokedama (Moss Ball)
The word kokedama translates to English as moss ball. The art was developed around 500 years ago and comes from the bonsai practice. These plants are made by growing an ornamental plant in a small pot so that the soil and roots form a sphere shape. Then the soil is wrapped in moss. They are often used in hanging gardens or just as a decorative art piece.
