THIS MONTH'S BOOK |
Facilitator: Kathy Cullen
ABOUT THE CLUB The book discussion group at Medford Arts grew out of the center's United Through Arts initiative. The purpose of United Through Arts is to present artistic culture from a variety of viewpoints to underline the idea that Art truly does unite those of different circumstances and interests through a mutual respect for the art itself. This year's focus of United Through Arts is North American indigenous culture and to that end our discussion group reads books by indigenous authors and about indigenous arts and culture. We meet on the third Monday of each month at 7pm at Medford Arts ~ 8 N. Main Street. ABOUT KATHY CULLEN
The group is led by Kathy Cullen who has had an avid love of reading from a very young age. Kathy has also travelled extensively and, as a child, lived overseas which provided an appreciation for a variety of cultures and viewpoints during her formative years. Cultural immersion is her favorite thing about traveling. Kathy is also a longtime member of The Woman's Club of Medford and a board member of Medford Arts.
