“Diversity Speaks: Love for Life” Exhibition On view until December 27, 2022 Markeim Arts Center 104 Walnut Street, Haddonfield, NJ "Diversity Speaks: Love for Life" is a truly dynamic exhibition. This show was curated by Rosie Hymerling as part of a celebration honoring Lee and Rosie Hymerling's 30+ years of creative support, leadership and stewardship of Markeim. Local artists using all kinds of mediums - oil and watercolor paints, mosaics, photography, sculpture and ceramics - contributed their art. In partnership with major museums around the state, one exhibition takes place each year, alternating between host institutions. These exhibitions are open to any artist currently living or working in New Jersey. The Arts Annual series is sponsored by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment of the Arts. Exhibition Theme The 2023 Arts Annual is open to New Jersey Artists working in any medium (visual, audio, video) who wish to explore the crises climate change and the inequality of climate resilience. Artists will be encouraged to offer local to global perspectives. Two galleries will be dedicated at each location, Arts Garage in Atlantic City and Kramer Hall, Hammonton. This will provide more dedicated space to exhibit many New Jersey Artists. The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University welcomes submissions to the Mother Nature vs Human Nature: The Inequity of Climate Resilience from February 1 – June 24, 2023. This open call invites a range of artistic practices and media that explore the Climate Crisis theme. In addition to the exhibition, dedicated programs will be offered in conjunction with the exhibition like lectures, podcasts, panel discussion, etc. The Haverford Guild of Craftsmen is now accepting applications for their 2023 Spring Art & Fine Craft Show. This is an indoor juried event, featuring some of the finest arts and crafts in the Philadelphia area.

Willingboro Art Alliance: In person- at the JFK Center, two Saturday morning Life Drawing classes. Starting January 7 and 21 classes will begin at 8:45 am till Noon. We will have the same life model for the two classes and charge $10 per person per class for members and $15 for non-members per class. We hope to continue these drawing classes throughout the winter with a new model each month. Come exercise your drawing skills, bring your fellow artist friends for a delightful Saturday morning of friendship and drawing.
