Celebration of the Arts

The Celebration of the Arts marks our one year anniversary in our new location at 8 N. Main Street in downtown Medford, NJ. As a thank you for your support, we would like you to join us for 4 days of music, art, poetry and fun with something for everyone!

The organization has grown in members, programs and volunteers in the last year. We have nearly 350 members, expanded our education program, added new art and yoga classes for our veterans, developed our music program, and much much more!

The mission of Medford Arts is to create an environment where the Arts flourish through access, education, coordination, promotion and advocacy.  Thank you for partnering with us to create a great future for the Arts in Medford, a center for our community, and as a key business, tourism and civic resource establishing Medford as a preeminent Arts destination.

The Itinerary

Thursday, September 12, 7- 9 p.m.
Music Night
Bruce and Joanne Erwin will perform a violin and cello classical duet.
Free Admission.
Friday, September 13, 6-9 p.m.
Opening Reception of Fall Invitational and ArtWalk 
Awards reception at 7 p.m. at Medford Arts. As a  special treat, we have asked local poets to write poems of the award winning pieces which they will share throughout the evening.  In addition, a variety of galleries and shoppes with local art and photography will be open for viewing. Artists demonstrations and live music performances will ignite as Main Street comes alive for ArtWalk.

Fantastic Ekphrastic at Medford Arts Center!  An ekphrastic poem is a poem inspired or stimulated by a work of art.  Guests experienced ekphrastic poetry during the Fall Invitational Awards Reception on September 13th.   After awards have been presented, poets will read their poems which have been specifically written for each one of the awarded paintings.  Please join us for this special treat, the fusion of paintings with poetry, as we begin Medford Arts Center's Celebration of the Arts weekend!

Bring the family for free art demonstrations, face painting, music and much more!

All artists are welcome to participate in Open Studio from 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. Use the medium of your choice. You can bring your own project to work on or use the still life set up available. All skill levels are welcome. Express your creativity and enjoy the camaraderie of working with other artists.  Drop-ins welcome!

Celebration of the Arts Gala
Please join us for an evening of dazzling entertainment, gastro delights and a live auction of original paintings which will be created before your very eyes! Celebrity impersonator entertainers will pop in to make this an evening you won't forget!
$35 per person
