BIO
Abbie is one of the most beloved and admired of the Medford Arts Center’s neighbors on Main Street. This busy and devoted Mom of four is also the dedicated co-owner with her husband and mother-in-law of Lower Forge Brewery, founder of the award-winning site “Destination Medford”, and proprietor/artist for Original Abbie Designs. As if that is not enough, Abbie also is a gifted cellist whose 29 year musical journey has taken her from All Toms River Orchestra, Garden State Youth Philharmonic, All South Jersey Orchestra, ASTA/NSOA, tours of Europe with the American Music Abroad Orchestra to currently performing with Medford's own South Jersey Pops as principal cellist. Here Abbie performs a tribute in a way closest to her heart through a cello solo (by ear in absence of sheet music)of one of Billie Holliday’s haunting tunes, “I’ll be Seeing You”. If you want to contact Abbie, she may be reached on FB at Original Abbie Designs, @originalabbiestudios on Instagram, and by email at [email protected]
