Each class focuses on different concepts such as portrait drawing, drawing people, intermediate perspective, landscape drawing, and rendering. Drawing ability is not required. Students will supply their own supplies.
MATERIALS LIST FOR BASIC DRAWING
1. Drawing pad no smaller than 9 x 12" 2. Pencil weights of 2H, HB, 2B, 3. Pencil sharpener 4. Rubber eraser. 5. Students are recommended to have access to colored pencils and black markers. (Color pencil use and fine tip black markers, "Sharpie" for example, will be explored in subsequent classes.)
JIM ROSANIO: INSTRUCTOR PROFILE
Jim Rosanio is a design and illustration expert with more than 30 years of experience. He has worked as the art director for a health/safety training company; did illustration and animation work. He illustrated t e book, “The Crow Flies” by Everett Applegate, did production art and print materials for the film documentary “Survivors’ Stories,” and also background graphics for the television program “Greatest Sports Legend.
