Gelatin monotype uses gelatin as the plate from which the print is made using nontoxic materials. Printmaking without a press. No experience is necessary. Suitable for age 10 to adult. Monotype is the most painterly form of printmaking. It is a fun and easy method to achieve effects that cannot be created by other printing processes. All materials are supplied.
SUSAN BARNES: INSTRUCTOR PROFILE
Susan Barnes, a native of New Jersey, began painting over forty years ago. Her career took a different direction while raising her children. During the period, she designed and created hand wrought jewelry in silver and gold which was sold in various locations in NJ. In 1995 She studied painting at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia while also attending Weekend with the Masters and the Mass Art Program in Bonington. The artist is the recipient of numerous awards which includes a Purchase Award by Burlington and has been a member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, American Society of Marina Artists, Oil Painters at America.
